Lighting upstairs, circuits in kitchen and circuits downstairs have abruptly stopped working. All other circuits are fine. Checked fuse box and fuses don't seem to have tripped.
Michael was round extremely fast, even late on the night before Good Friday. He solved our problem quickly. And he was very friendly. Will be using again.

(i) Moving electrical socket in living room by one metre (ii) fixing timer lightswitch in common hallway (light won't turn off)
I would highly recommend Viv & her team at Athena. A visit was arranged quickly & the electrician turned up on time to install a hallway timer switch. When there were technical problems with the switch (i.e. with the actual switch not the installation), Athena returned & re-installed another switch promptly & without charge.

I have two currently working wall lights which I would like to change for another set of lights. The lights I am looking to replace them with currently plug into a socket but are made to be mounted on the wall. Is it possible to wire these lamps into the existing wires for the wall lights? Or if not is it possible to cover over the existing wall lights? Timing: ASAP

I have a relatively simple job for a qualified electrician that I don't want to try and fix myself. I have a three gang, two-way switch connected to a two gang, two-way switch and a one gang two-way switch. These switches control light on three landings. One of the gang switches has stopped working. I have checked connection in the light that won't go on but cannot find a fault. I need help.
Mirek from MGB Electrical Solutions came to see the small job that I needed help with - a faulty light fitting. He was dead on time [08.00] very well-equipped, methodical, interested, not underwhelmed because the job was small. His charge was reasonable. He is very friendly and helpful. I have some outdoor electrical work that needs doing in the spring and I will definitely ask him for help with that. I will also recommend him to friends.

I am looking for a quote for someone to hang two chandeliers in a ground floor room with no access from above. They are replacing two existing fixtures so no rewriting required, although the new fixtures are a fair bit heavier (7.4kg per chandelier) than what is currently installed. Also I will need two rocker switches to be replaced with dimmer switches (which I will supply) - again no repositioning required. In my current living room (5.13m by 4.27m) there is one central light fitting. I am looking to get a quote on the installation of between 6 and 9 spotlights in one half of the room (with dimmer switch) and two pendant lights fitted on the other half of the room, to come down over the dining table (also with dimmer). There is access to the two rooms above the living room (both are bedrooms in which the floorboards could be lifted).
