We are a charity drama school. The lights in one corridor are out although the fuse switch seems fine. Also, we have a socket in a class room that has burned out and a pin from a plug melted into it.
Chris responded quickly and carried out the work without fuss and to a high standard. The price was good and he was on time and friendly in his approach. I would definitely recommend him and use his services again.

I need two fire safety units installed(one smoke alarm replaced with a new one and one heat alarm in my kitchen). I need both units to be mains wired in. The smoke alarm in the coridor is alteady existing and needs replacing with a new one and the heat alarm will be a new instalation. I already have the two units and their raidio bases. It is a nessesity for the electrician to be Part P registered and must be able to supply me with a certificate for the instalation.

I cut through a cable today in the top of a built in cupboard next to the kitchen, and the kitchen light went out. I turned the supply off but the cable detector still shows something live. This must be coming from the communal supply ( I live in a small private block of 6 flats) as there was a built in smoke alarm when we moved in. The fuse box for the block looks a bit too complicated for me so I need someone to come round and turn off the supply and fix the wire. Not a big job so I was hoping to find someone in the area Monday or Tuesday thanks Gavin

Hi I have an ex council flat in Archway, N19 that I am just getting permission from the council to convert from a 1 bed to a 2 bed flat. Here's what I will need: 1. Light switch and sockets created in what is currently the kitchen - will be the 2nd bedroom 2. Electrics that are currently in my kitchen, either moved to be part (1) or made safe 3. Main fuse box for flat moved. 4. Lights switches for lounge and bed 1 moved as per the new walls (made from plasterboard and wood) Think that's it! I will need an electrical installation certificate to satisfy the council the work has been done right - their building regulations - plus an electrical safe certificate at the end of everything. I also posted a plumbing job and it would be brilliant if I could find one person or people / company that could do everything together. The other things I will need is the kitchen and radiators moving, radiators added, 2 walls built from plasterboard and wood and made nice ready to paint - a door opening and frame made from knocking out part of the current hall wall - boxes built around the boiler and fuse box, wooden floor fitted in hall and lounge. If you are able to provide services other than electrics, please tell me when replying. One final note - I have had a real struggle finding honest tradesmen who are happy to do an honest days work. I hope to do lots more of these projects and am looking for someone or some people I can hire regularly and can trust. People who won't buy the cheapest materials to increase their bottom line - people who do things right and with integrity and quality. Really hope that this time I find some great people. Look forward to hearing from you. :-)
