Job Hi I require an electrician to carry out the following small jobs: 1. Repair/Replace immersion timer located near hot water cylinder. The current one seems to be going 3 times faster than normal time. 2. Replace broken fuse box for whirl pool bath outside bathroom 3. Repair ignition lighter for gas hob in kitchen (if possible)

Job Unsold Job, Updated Details : Initially I just want the heating system checked and if there are problems then a quote for the correction. Original : Underfloor heating needs to be checked to see if working or where problem lies. Currently erratic. Sometimes doesn't come on, sometimes it doesn't switch off and gets very hot. The electric matt is laid on concrete under a wooden floor.

Comment Scott came to check our underfloor heating as it wasn't working. He was able to diagnose the issue and he was honest in telling us that without ripping up the floor there was little we could do to resolve this issue left by our builders who hadn't fitted it properly. Whilst he didn't do any work for us this time I would ask him again. Brendan

Job I have an existing set of 5x35W 240V recessed halogen lights in a reception room. I want to replace these with adjustable type fittings, and add approx 4 more lights to the same circuit and ceiling, and replace switch with a dimmer. Thre may be one or two other places in the house where more lights are needed.

Job Hi, We have an AEG Electrolux Competence Double oven and last week, there was a short power cut when we turned the oven on. Then when we switched the main power back on, the bottom oven stopped heating, however the fan and light still work and the top convection oven/grill is also still working. We think the filament could have blown and needs replacing.
