The light in the kicthen ( muliti bulb one ) keeps going on and off, works sometimes and not others - also a buzzing sound coming from it. May have problem with wiring in the loft ? Want to change the fitting in the kitchen but want advice before purchasing a new one. Looking for a local electrician who can initially come and have a quick look and determine what the problem is and then repair as needed. Thanks Michele

Installl an extractor fan in bathroom.
Giles arrived on time. The work as initially described i.e. fitting the extractor fan needed little work as it turned out that there was already a fan in place and needed updating which Giles completed with the fan I provided. Giles also fitted a pendent light in the small entrance area of the property. I provided the trunking and Giles supplied the pendant light. It is pleasing to be able to employ a tradesperson who communicates well and can work unsupervised.

I need a quote for installing an extra ceiling light in hallway as well as installing double/triple light switches at front door and either end of hallway. I'd like to avoid any external trunking but am happy to repair plaster myself. May also require an existing light fitting to be moved slightly.

I have 12v downlights installed and the connections in the terminals where the bulbs push in have poor connections. I need these terminal blocks replaced. I have 9 lights which this has occurred to.
