We have an RCD that covers our plug circuits and often trips when powerful appliances are turned on or off (lawn mower, hair dryer, hoover etc). It tripped while we are away on holiday and we lost a freezer full of food. It has a 30mA rating, so I assume we have some earthe leakage somewhere which is taking things close to that limit, then any extra leakage immediately trips it. Since it happend while we were away it might even be the fridge/freezer itself that's leaking. I want to find out what the problem is, and if possible get it fixed - we don't want to have to throw away a load of good food again!
Polite, punctual and friendly. Unfortunately was not able to diagnose our problem with a frequently tripping RCD, but tested all our circuits and a couple of appliances for a very reasonable fee. Recommended.

Need to replace the electric consumer unit for a 2 bed flat.
Imran was one of the most honest trademan I have come across and being a landlord I have seen many. He and his colleague gave me lots of advise and were very flexible. I am really pleased with the work carried out in my garden - garden lighting and outdoor sockets, as well as a couple of other bits and pieces. Really friendly and helpful service - highly recommended.

Fit plug faceplates to four double sockets – just requires wiring. Electric oven, although working, was not installed by an electrician and so needs checking that it has been wired safely and corrected if required. Remove old bedroom light ceiling rose and fit new flush to ceiling light I have purchased. Electrician must be able to work on a weekend or evening.
Came and done the work as requested with no fuss. Will use again if needed.

Need our flats electrics to be tested and get a electrical safety certificate. Electric provider (EDF) have told us that the electrics have been tampered with, and so wont replace out electricity meter until this is done.
