When I switch on the overhead light the wires sometimes spark, and the light flickers constantly, so I've had to stop using it. I would like the wires tested.
Excellent service. arrived promptly, and was professional, helpful and thorough. I will be keeping his details to use for any future work that comes up.

Light switch in bedroom "sizzling" when turned on, turning off sporadically and when doors above the room are slammed shut

Problem with bathroom light, cover has come loose and when put back in place causes the light not to work.
Very professional service. Tradesman was running a bit late on another job but called ahead to let me know and fixed the problem within minutes. Would use again.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : I need to have the loft conversion electrics assessed and repaired. No fuse has blown, and the plug sockets are still functioning but the power to the shower, bathroom and main overhead lights has gone. Original : Loft conversion electrics seem to have blown, uncertain why. This has affected the water pressure as well.
Peter was extremely thorough and helpful, and his work was excellent. I'm very happy to have working lights again! Would definitely recommend as well as use again.

Hi, we need an electrician to come and complete an electrical safety test in the communal hallway in accordance with Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (SI 1989/635). In addition we need 4 timer switches fitting - something like this:

Require external double socket to outside wall under Kitchen window and 2 double sockets sited in shed. Power required for a water feature. (Shed is sited near to house. Size of shed 10' x 6' Shed type is a Pent type.) Also require lighting in shed.
I would thoroughly recommend Jake to anyone. He is a first rate sparky & tradesman. I would definitely use him again.

Joe our electrician did a really good service. He was always prompt and listened to what we needed and did the best job possible while making far less mess than we thought the job might make. Would use Joe again and recommend him.

I have an electric shower and when I turn the switch outside the bathroom to start the shower there is a fishy smell and we think its coming from the switch. There was a time when the switch would not work at all and then suddenly it worked but there is a smell from it.
Tradesman worked very hard and completed job to a high standard - very pleased with work.

There is a peculiar 'knocking' sound coming from somewhere between the upstairs and downstairs, which stops when we turn the electricity off. Our ground floor circuit breaker was thrown off last night, which is how we discovered it was electrically associated (rather than the neighbours tunneling through as we initially suspected). We are concerned that this could be a fire hazard so want someone to have a look as soon as possible.
