I have bought a replacement light fitting for my bedroom and I require the old one removing and the new one connection. The light is on a circuit that can be isolated.
He could have been tidier in his work. He was cutting bits of excess wire and simply dropping them on to the floor. It was only when I offered him a bin that he became a bit tidier.

Can't reset the sockets circuit breaker. Have tried resetting RCD plus unplugging all appliances but still can't reset to 'on'.
Will was friendly and reliable. He completed a good job quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Following Landlords inspection my house appears to need the following,
1. No visible main earth to installation
2. No equipotential bonding to gas main
3. No circuit identification to distribution board
4. Cooker point feeding a number of socket outlets
5. Cooker circuit has additional radial in breaker
6. Loose cabling to cupboard under stairs
7. Non BS type light switch under the stairs
8. Broken isolator to shed and core showing
9. Unable to identify circuits 1 & 2
10. RCD does not trip out, exceeds recommended data.
wasn't entirely sure what this might cost but am happy to discuss.

rcd repeatedly trips out, signs of wear to rcd, had checked to replace rcd only but unable to find replacement part. board needs checking a 12 year old protek, need advice.
Quoted much less than I thought, turned up on time for quote and job, no call out charges and did excellent work. Very presentable and polite, fantastic work. Will use again.

put an outide power socket in a brick outhouse and also provide lighting in there. Also put up a security light and wire this in with a switch.
I cannot recommend AR Electrical enough. Absolutely first rate. Prompt, tidy, within quote, friendly and all work finished to a high standard. Excellent!

Lights in Loft extension not working.
The fuse has not tripped - the sockets which are on the same ring are working fine.
Suspect that the problem is in a recessed spotlight fitting in shower room as this light was on when the lights went out and was apparently making a few noises beforehand....
Simply brilliant. Arrived bang on time, identified and explained the problem clearly. Fixed it (taking great care not to damage any decoration - thank you!) and also fixed another problem with a light switch I mentioned.
Excellent service all round - the company name says it all. I would recommend 100% to anyone.

We have a relatively old home with a number of dated aspects to our electrical system, that has been added to over time rather than replacing the system. We are looking at either a full rewire of a 3 floor, 5 bedroom, 1 bathroom terrace house. Alternatively, we would like quotes to only replace aspects of the system as we have been informed this can be done already and would avoid damage and disruption. Quotes for both would be welcomed.
