With all the regulations around at the moment I was not going to leave anything to chance. The contractor looked over the periodic report I had from a previous electrician, and noticed some of the work was not necessary. I think he may have stopped me being ripped off, which is always a possibility when you are not experienced in this area. I have peace of mind and my electrics are now safe.
