I'm an experienced DIY'er and have installed underfloor heating in a shower room and just need an electrician to check the final connections and confirm it's OK (as part of the Part P building regulations). I've checked the heating wire resistance before, during and after the installation and it's all good. I have not laid the tiles over the top yet. The floor was pre-existing. The UFH is new, loose-wire (bought in kit form). The floor is made of sturdy board, over joists.

All halogen lights in Kitchen have, one by one, stopped working and dimmer switch does not seem to work.
I could not recommend Scott more highly. He arrived early, identified the problem and promptly got on and did what was required without any fuss. Clean, tidy, personable and very good value, I will certainly be keeping his number on my phone to pass on to family and freinds.

Kitchen - replace spotlight with pendant light. Lounge - replace ceiling fan light with pendant light and fit glass shade. Fanlight not working so no light in lounge currently. Porch - 1 floodlight to be replaced with pir porch light. Probably will be moved to other side of door but no cable extension required. Switch for the floodlight faces into kitchen by dishwasher and needs to face into hall. Same position in wall, just facing other way (stud wall I think). Will source lights myself. Thanks

1. External security lights to be installed. 2. Two internal ceiling light fixtures - one alreaday has a light attached, the other is just the wiring in place. 3. Look at wiring for wall lights. 4. Socket coverings.
My father dealt with the tradesmen and he was very impressed with their work and the quality of the finished job. Slight misunderstanding in that they came all the way from east london thinking that they were to do the job rather than just give a quote - in the end it was a good mistake as I got the job done and for a very reasonable price. Overall very satisfied with their work.
