There was a significant amount of ‘chasing into’ the plaster work in the lounge, the dining room and a bedroom, to allow the cables to be sunk into the walls. Both this and the subsequent electrical works Phil performed were all satisfactory
Phil sub contracted the plastering to a plastering company. Sadly the quality of the work the plasterer performed was not in the same league as Phil’s electrical installation. Further there was no respect to my home by the plastering company.
I have now had to appoint my own plasterer to make good the shocking service performed by Phil’s sub contractor, this has needed in excess of a full days work….the original plastering was less than a day
As a consequence of the sub-standard plastering and the high cost of ‘putting right’ I am not able to recommend this company
Indeed the whole episode puts into question the credibility of the concept of Rated People web site………what is appropriate for some people is not appropriate to others…..it is not an objective assessment of the quality of the service on offer
