We had a new electrical mira 8.5kw shower fitted over a year ago. In our central fuse cabinet the 30amp fuse trips after 3-10 days of shower use. Every time it trips the fuse it very hot. The installer thinks it's due to the water pressure being too low, and therefore we would need a pump. Although it could also be due to the wiring, as it is quite old.
Was contacted within 5 minutes of posting the job. Tradesman knew the problem from the description, and the suggested solution worked well.

Hello, I'm looking for an electrician to connect a whirlpool bath. The bath has been installed for a few months now, but was never connected electrically. It was connected to the fuse box initially for testing purposes and it powered up fine but the job was never finished. Currently there is a cable going from the whirlpool bath to the fuse box but isn't connected at the fuse box. Thanks.

I had Phoenix gas central heating installed beginning June last year. I live in a Wimpey chalet bungalow type property built in 1974. On the gas safety inspection report, it was written that I was advised to have an electrician check earth banding to gas and water pipes, bring up to current standard if necessary. I am looking for an electrician to check this situation please.

Domestic Fuse box and metre to be removed from wall to allow for dry lining, and be remounted after dry lining is in place. Equipment easily accessible in bay window. Job would require box and meter removed in the morning, and remounted later on the same day. Times are relatively flexible. Date for work can be fixed to suit...

The eight lights (recessed into the ceiling) will not switch on. They all went off at the same time.
