Fitting of an extractor fan in bathroom.
I have fan, pull cord, wire and conduit.
my brother in law is an electrician but lives 80 miles away and not seeing him for a while - he sent me all the bits and said it can be wired from the bathroom light. i would like the wire to be put in the wall so will involve channelling out from ceiling to the existing vent (about a foot and a half).
may been something to secure the fan to as think the existing vent space is bigger than the fan we have.
want it done this week as we're off work - can do tues 12th afternoon, anytime weds, most of thurs (at a push fri but not if we can help it) we may also be able to manage the weekend.
Ive been told it should be no more than a £50 job.

I would defo use kevin again. He called straight away and could fit me in the next day. The job should have been an hour and half but took a while longer cause of a couple of small issues but kevin didnt charge me any extra. Kevin was a really nice guy and I will be recommending him.

We're about to let out our 3 bed terrace for the first time and we want to get someone in to give the electrics a health check and get a few appliances that may or may not be staying PAT tested.
I'm guessing we don't yet need the certificate that comes into force in April, but we decided it's probably better to get that in place now anyway.
Fantastic service. Rob carried out the work efficiently and to a high standard while taking the time to explain what and why.

I am getting my attic bedroom plastered to remove/cover all artex, however I first need to sort electrics/lighting. Currently the room still has an old halogen light (the long thin type and old wire). We wish to remove this fitting and replace with 6 spot lights in the attic ceiling. We also need to put in a new plug socket.
Performed a very good job at a great price. I would recommend using Exact Electrics.

I did rate LDS Services as they were very prompt in replying, calling back and helpful even though I didn't take up their job offer due to the distance they would have to travel.

I'm not sure
I'm letting a house I've just bought, and need the electrics looking over. At least one wire needs conduit.
Also I need a new ceiling light in the attic room
I'll try to be objective:
On the plus side: he did the work I asked for at the price he said he would. Electrical check for £200, and then he insisted I needed a new fuse box, £260.
On the minus side:
(a) he left me with every plug in the house on one 16A breaker. "It needs some more investigation" he said. Ie, you'll have to pay me more to sort it out. Well, I don't mind paying for work to be done, but after £460, I expected more. (OK, that was subjective)
(b) he left grubby fingerprints on freshly decorated walls.
