Internal 1. Change existing full 8 port Consumer unit for a 16 port unit to provide more capacity for new requirements. This is in the garage, which will soon be converted into a new family room. 2. Bedroom 2. Add one new flush triple flush socket or two flush double sockets. 3. Bedroom 3. Add two new double flush sockets. 4. Bedroom 4. Add one new triple flush or two double flush sockets. 5. Master bedroom, make one single flush socket into a flush double. 6. Living room. Make two flush single sockets into flush double sockets. 7. Living room. Move the main internal telecom socket (line managed by o2 now) to the other side of the same wall (this brings the socket out of the hall and into the living room). 8. Fit loft light. 9. Family bathroom. Fit one new double shaver/elect toothbrush socket. 10. Master bed en-suite bathroom – fit downlighters to replace existing light. 11. Master Bedroom en-suite. The shaver socket makes a strange buzz/humm. Is it faulty? External 10. Front porch. Move the light from its position above the front door, to become a PIR operated security/courtesy low wattage light, retaining the existing switch. 11. External telecom point – move this to an appropriate place to allow the garage conversion building works to take place. 12. Fit external PIR operated security light to side access route. 13. External PIR/security light, high on back wall isn’t working (it might even just be the bulb). This needs to be working with option to switch between PIR and ‘always on’ and ideally using low wattage bulbs. 14. Garden shed. Extend supply from existing garden lights to the shed. Fit new low wattage light for security and for social use. 17th Edn qualified Electrician essential. Preference will be given to those who also hold C&G 2391.
Elliot changed the consumer unit and moved a telecom point. Excellent quality of work from a true professional. I would not hesitate in recommending Elliot Butcher and IES and I am planning to invite him back to do more work for me.

I have four electrical jobs, which I'd like to get all done at the same time; 1. Fit a loft light and switch. 2. Get the coax connection working in the sports room (garage conversion) 3. Connect the garden floodlight and fit a switch. 4. Fit a switch to existing external PIR lights (which work fine but I'd like the option to turn them off).

to take down a fairly large brass and crystal chandelier - ceiling is lofted and about 14ft high (at the apex where the chandelier hook is) replace with a different chandelier which is slightly larger but not as heavy. I would like to have the original chandelier rehung in a different room with a lower ceiling height approx 8ft

New underfloor heating has been installed in a conservstory. The system needs to be checked and connected to the mains supply provided. The mains spur to the conservatory is on separate RCD protected breaker. The underfloor heating system is installed as per manufacturers instructions complete with a fused isolating switch and thermostat. A cable from the thermostat for connection to mains supply has also been installed. A certificate from a qualified electrician will be required for system guarentee purposes.
