Earthing and part retire of upstairs of two bedroom house. Remove and replace light Fitting - one bedroom - replace/ install ceiling fitting and switch - one bedroom. Resolve odd switch issues - bathroom light goes out when using hall light. Reconnect outside light from internal switch . Reconnect external outside light switch. Letting certificate. Will need to be a Saturday.
Really great - came round started the job straight away - really clear about what needed to happen and importantly why - will use Dave again without doubt.

Recent electrician declared that the house has insufficient earthing ( not earthed? ) It is an old house. So need this to be rectified, a new consumer unit to be fitted and possibly pvc cables updating to rubber ( if considered to be necessary)
Had had some issues with the earthing in the house and another electrician had not known what was going on. James came out and got to the bottom of the problem very quickly and then came back to fit the new consumer unit within a couple of days. I felt confident and relaxed that he was trustworthy and knowledgable.. Would definetely call him again

My combi boiler is in the garage so I would like a thermostat fitting inside the house to enable me to control the heating without going outside. This is not relating to underfloor heating, just standard gas central heating, but there wasn't an option to select for gas central heating. I assume it is an electrician I need and not a plumber!

I have a number of small jobs that need doing around the house. Fit external light to front, fit security light to back, secure plug and switch fittings in kitchen and replace plastic covers with metal through out the upstairs, wire the house alarm from upstairs phone socket to downstairs hallway and tidy up wiring to boiler in downstairs pantry.
Had a number of small jobs that needed doing and I was really pleased with the results. Ian did a great job and was very reasonably priced. He even came out th day after to look at my oven when it went on the fritz!

I'm not sure
I'd like two double sockets installing in an internal ground floor room that currentl;y only has power for a light (no sockets currently installed). Also, I have four hideous old light fittings that I'd like replacing with new ones - I have the lights already.
Recommended without a trace of hesitation; Matthew was a bl**dy star from the beginning. Very quick to contact, came to do a full inspection of the work the same day, and offered to do the work at a time completely to suit me there and then. The price was superb - a really good deal - and he was here when arranged, and cracked on straight away. A few other complications with my wiring came to light during the job, which Matthew then fixed as he went along, at no extra charge, even coming back on another two occasions - again, all with no extra outlay. Ten out of ten to Rated People for this superb service, and a comfortable fifteen out of ten to Matthew for *his* service. If you're looking for a hard-working and conscientious electrician to do work in the Yorkshire region, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Cheers!

the pull cord for bathroom light has detached from switch situated above false ceiling.either this needs to be permanently re attached or a more suitable switch fitting.
arrived promptly-was very polite and knowledgable! poor man had to squeeze into a teeny tiny loft hatch to fix my light-no problem!everything sorted in a clean and friendly way! wonderful- a man that can!would recommend to anyone.

Track lighting to be fitted to living room roof (will require going into the upstairs bedroom to run wires through floor boards). Additional roof lighting to be fitted in living room (spotlights) and further spotlights to go within fire place. All of these lights will need to be on a dimmer, we have got a transformer from the track lighting to achieve this for that, the spotlights should be dimmable already. In the Kitchen, some spotlights needed to be fitted above the cooker. This does not need to be dimmable. All this is new installation lighting. There are some exisiting wall lights in the living room that will need to be removed, as well as an exiting roof light which is to be removed.
