Bought flooring and underlay, very small kitchen, average hall way and dining room need laminating. Typical 1930's semi.
Left our skirting boards a mess and wasnt bothered as said he didnt charge a great deal. Clearly had the skills he just couldnt be bothered, he was using job as an infil between better paid jobs.

Supply if competitive, and/or Fit a timber floor/engineered board in a bathroom.
Overall Mike was very polite, honest and reliable, but was let down on several occasions by the supplier of the flooring, which caused some inconvenience, and was disappointing, particularly as we had chosen a quite expensive 'quality' product. Once the correct flooring was eventiually supplied, we were impressed with how quickly and professionally he completed the job, and we are very happy with the finish. We would use Mike again for other flooring jobs, but would prefer a different supplier!

Repair and levelling of a concrete floor. I have a concrete floor that is to be carpeted. There are vinyl tiles stuck on top but some of them are broken and loose so they will be removed leaving a thin layer of black adhesive. The concrete underneath has some small holes and a badly damaged area near the front door. There are also areas where moisture appears to be coming up through the concrete so it will need a waterproof membrane. Total floor area about 25m^2.

There are four door openings off the hall and we will need to accommodate a thin BT cable which runs from the front to the back of the house where it provides our Sky broadband connection and telephone.
