I would like my living room floorboards sanded. It is about 24 square metres. I have started the job myself but found it too difficult. The property is a house built in 1934. Please note I don't need them staining or varnishing as I will do that myself.
I would not hesitate to recommend David and Elaine to anyone wishing to have their floor sanded. They worked really hard to get my old living room floor, with all its blemishes, to a lovely smooth finish and even managed to work out a piece that had been badly damaged. They finished the job in a few hours and did not leave any mess. The entire job was done very professionally and I am delighted.

approx 15ft by 10ft floorspace with each tile 406mm square
Tuesday they were meant to start at 12:30, they didn't turn up... rearranged for wednesday... never turned up.... Thursday meant to be here for 08:30... never turned up... then said 12:30... turned up at 13:40 ;-) ;-) after doing 2/3 of the job he had to leave as there was an emergency at another job... promised to return friday... Friday... yes... never turned up... said to be ill.... rearranged for Monday 08:30... never turned up... We have since had a second quote and have been informed that the floor should have been screed first, what has been laid is not straight, and that despite being told he would use extra adhesive, there is none present on the tiles that we've had to lift off the floor to be professionally relaid.... These are best left avoided.... Buyer Beware!!!!

kitchen/dining room is open plan. Pantry is separate. Approx dimensions = 18 sq metres We already have underlay in place from existing laminate.
Excellent job, very neat and efficient. We had the existing laminate replaced L&P 's work was much more superior to the previous fitters. I had 2 fridges, 1 washing machine and a huge cupboard and the guys moved them and even put them back for me.

take up flood damaged kitchen floor, replace with same type engineered wood and underlay. Cost will be paid by insurance. Need this job doing asap if possible
We originally asked about replacing floors, and ended up having the whole kitchen redone. The staff are all very polite and pretty tidy, and they have done a very good job, fitting in around our own electrician as well. We didn't get comparison quotes for the whole job, but they were very competitive for the floors, and we thought the price for the bigger job was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend them to anyone else, and ask them to price any other work we do.
