Martin was great I also got him to fit my shower he came out when I had a bit of flood! he was at my house within 1/2 an hr he wasn't the cheapest but he was very accommodating and you get what you pay for I have got an excellent floor laid shower fitted and a disaster diverted all because of martin if I need anything major done in the house I'll be phoning Martin first.

I need someone to install 30sq m reclaimed block parquet (which I already have, and needs thin layer of bitumen to be removed), to be laid on existing timber floor, in herringbone pattern, with undercut skirting/ or mastic edge detail- no timber quadrants allowed. Sanded, filled, 3 layers lacquer.
MS Flooring did an excellent job, if you want reclaimed parquet flooring done you should definitely use them. The other people who gave me quotes had evidently never laid reclaimed flooring before, infact they didn't have a clue.

Just about to buy 18mm solid oak flooring from Direct Flooring for Kitchen, Hall, Livingroom. Floor current sanded. typical 1930's bungalow. Requires 3 square edge bars and possibly 5 of doors 'plained' so doors fit once complete. Current beading on skitrs will have to be removed prior to installtion. Many Thanks John

The job is to lay 35 sqm of laminate flooring on normal underlay with 3no chorme bars at doorways and edge trim to skirtings to hold down. It is a 2 bed flat on the 2nd floor, materials will be provided, the areas are lounge, bedroom and l shaped hall. work is to be done as early as possible week commencing the 4th of Jan. we will take up existing carpet and gripper rod ourselves and dispose of but you may give me a additional cost for this if you want.
I am a builder of new houses from outside the area and would be more critical than most, Gerry came in and did a good job under pressure in hectic conditions i.e 4 diffrent trades working in a 2 bed flat with a 1 week refurbishment schedule. Gerry not only laid the flooring but put up a ply and plasterboard stud partition in the bathroom to allow tiling to commence. Gerry kept to his original price and did not charge excessively for the extra work as some may have done. I have no hesitation in reccomending Gerry to other customers.

(The stairs and rest of the house will have to be done later.) I will get the keys on Wednesday, April 3 and move in is on April 11.
