Need someone to put down some carpet tiles replacing old ones and to stick down rubber flooring on top of existing Lino.
HI Alan, is a genuine hard working bloke, turned up when he said and worked hard and did a great job. Will use him again on flooring projects we need in the business.

The job is to tile the kitchen floor of a two bed house. It has linoleum flooring at the moment. Thanks
Petry is dangerously inexperienced/ naive and has ruined the entire job. He has no understanding about what it takes to do the job. Petry left the property without cleaning and has not even taken with him the old underlay, as agreed. He is aggressive and shot tempered. He threatened not to give the house keys back till he gets his money. He is highly unreliable and shouldn't be trusted with any work. I AM HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED THAT SUCH AMETUERS ARE ALLOWED TO GET REGISTERED ON THIS WEBSITE.

Lewis is hardworking and reliable. He is open to feedback and happy to act on it. He is also a very mature person.

To lay some wood flooring in a bedroom
I found Alan to be very reliable and helpful. He helped me with any questions that I had about what I would need to buy. He provided a very reasonable quote and that was the price I paid.He was punctual on the day and carried out the work efficiently. The floor looks very nice and I am pleased with the result. There was slight damage to the side of a door which he had to plane which he did not mention at the time. Overall I would recommend him and would choose him again in the future for this type of job.

Laminate flooring already purchased (Quick Step Calando midnight oak laminate) from B
Craig was an excellent professional. Very quick and precise with detail. Craig worked hard until the job was done and even happily answered my many questions throughout the day. I asked for a few extra bits and touch ups outside of the quote which Craig happily agreed to and completed. In conclusion the work looks fantastic and I would not hesitate to use him time and time again.

We need to create a paved area in a space that is currently made up of a combination of solid concrete, brick patio, soil flower beds and gravel. We are looking for a quote for the removal of the old concrete, bricks and gravel and the preparation of the ground for one single type of paving, as well as the preparation of a base for a new shed. We would also like a quote for the paving itself though we are thinking of doing this ourselves depending on the cost.
Matt did a great job paving a substantial area of our garden. He was able to start within a week of quoting for us and did the job at an extremely reasonable price. We are very pleased

Small hallway 8ft x 3.5ft Already have flooring, needs fitting
Was very wary of getting tradesmen in, however it has to be said this guy is a legend! He went above and beyond what I expected. On turning up it became apparent I did not have all the materials... Not a problem, Allen drove me to the DIY store to help me choose the right items. In addition he stayed longer than the time I was paying him for to ensure the job was done right.. I also felt comfortable enough to leave him alone in the house whilst I popped to the shops.. Def recommend and very happy with his service..

I currently have carpet in my living room but would like to replace this with laminate flooring (well, the real wood top layer type). The living room is around 5x4m2 and opens out onto a patio hence wanting something other than carpet that is easy to maintain. I would assume that I would purchase all the flooring, underlay and trims myself but would like to find someone who can fit it for me.

Want a carpet fitted to basement approx 4m x 5m. The carpet will go over basic laminate. I would like to have underlay too but my husband doesn't want to use grippers as he doesn't want to ruin the laminate in case we ever uncover it again. Is it possible to lay underlay and then carpet and fit without grippers? If not, we will just go for laying the carpet directly onto the laminate. How much, please? Thank you. Caroline Hiller
