Need to re-finish wooden floors (about 44 sq meters in total including 5 steps). Floor is generally in good order with some localised loose floorboards. Floor board surfaces are subject to differential wearing to areas receiving maximum foot traffic, with a requirement for re-finishing at surface.
John did an incredible job at sanding and colouring the job, with far superior results than I have ever seen. Rather than just varnishing and painting the wood he managed to bring out the whole character of my wooden floors. Additionally, he did the impossible to fix the floors after a painter had ruined them by spilling paint right after having done the floors. You can see that he truly loves his job and the wood he treats! Highly recommended.

This job would need to be done between 15 and 22 July, as we are moving into this property 14 July, and have arranged for the removal company to keep our furniture from these rooms for 10 days after the move). The floors are continuous, so this would need to be done in one job (not room by room). The floors would need to be seen to assess what level of sanding would be needed. I believe the floor was laid 3 years ago, but not properly finished, and has had fairly heavy use (by children!) There is also a flight of stairs, which was previously partially carpeted and also needed sanding and finishing.
Beautiful job, our newly sanded floors look great! Very hard-working and friendly guys too - we highly recommend them!

Matt was reliable, prompt, finished the work to a high standard. He completed the job on time and hired subcontractors who arrived on time and did the additional finishing off work on time. Matt was always polite and helpful.

I am looking for a quote to fit a new laminate floor and new skirting boards (which will need to be trimmed to size) across the whole flat excluding the bathroom. The flat includes 3 bed, living room, hallway and Kitchen of roughly 100sq meters. Currently there are old laminate floors in place that we laid on top of a wood floor. The old laminate floor would need to be removed but the the new floor can be laid on the older wood floor. Ideally looking for someone that will be free prior to December.
