Wooden floor sanding and sealing in Belsize
"Remick provided a very competitive (though not the cheapest quote - I think one was just a bit 'too low') for refinishing old pine flooring in six rooms. I really liked his management style and customer service. They did a great job with the job they were tasked to do and were particularly accomodating when we changed stain colouring in two rooms after one had been done. He also worked around us living in the flat which I know is not optimal as everything needed to be moved from room to room. He used top quality materials and replaced floorboards where needed. One disappointment was with one of Remick's team members who was a bit sloppy (glue spills on carpet we couldn't get out and a wallpaper tear). I'd spoken to this worker one day when I saw him stacking a bed frame against a wall without putting padding b/t them to avoid scratching. Remick was most apologetic about these and did reduce the price but not enough to re-wallpaper the wall or recarpet the hall as our carpeting is no longer in stock. I empathise that good help is hard to find and I understand that 'accidents happen' but these instances could easily have been avoided. In the future I'll make sure that Remick provides closer personal supervision on my job. I would recommend him. "
