John has transformed our flat in just a few days. The old painted boards have been stripped back and oiled to show their original colour, and damaged areas have been cleverly repaired. I was convinced the floor was beyond repair, but John has worked his magic! John was professional and very knowledgable. He communicated at all stages and provided a written quote. Understandably, we did have to retouch the newly painted skirting boards - so if you're having this done, leave the decorating till afterwards!

I have a solid wood floor that was badly laid a couple of years ago in a loft conversion so that it bulges in places and is very creaky when walked on. 2 people looked at it for me last year - 1 said he thought he could relay it, the other said rip it out and start again or learn to live with it. I am still hoping it can be repaired.
Saul and his son repaired a solid wood floor for me that had been badly laid. They did a good, professional job at a reasonable price and were attentive to the details that mattered to me - a happy customer.

1. Supply 12m2 of reclaimed pine parquet blocks. 2. Fit parquet blocks to kitchen floor tying in with existing floor where wall has been removed. 3. Full sanding of newly patched in section and remainder of existing floor (34m2) taking back to bare timber filling any gaps and reapplying minimum three coats floor sealant. 4. Stain floor to a dark oak finish.
Mille is very helpful, competent, felixble and delivers an excellent quality of work. I would recommend him as well as use his hardwood expertise again.

To remove existing carpet and skirting board, laying solid oakwood flooring (expected width 120mm - 130mm), replace skirting board with a new one. Sand down or cut the bottom of wood door if flooring comes too high to shut the door. 2nd floor, approx. 18sqm.
Reliable ad very hard working, pleasant personality. Turned up on time early in the morning and worked throughout the day. Cleared the debris and mess afterwards. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended, will definitely use again!

Please note that there is existing furniture, though all movable. The only furniture which will be difficult is a tall 'L' cupboard. b) Remove and dispose existing underlay. c) If necessary, even out the laying surface. Maximum unevenness: 2mm on 1 metre d) Lay out the moisture guard like a tray with around 2cm at the wall and 10cm overlap at the butting edges, secure with adhesive tape and seal. e) Lay Classen Megaloc laminate flooring (see www.classen.de for detailed instructions in English). Installer must provide spacers and any miscellaneous items like tape.
