I have a 2 bed grd floor flat - approx 70 sqm. Looking for someone to lay flooring through all the rooms excl Bath and Kitchen. Some furniture to move around but only just moved in so not too bad.
He did a great job - the new flooring looks fantastic. Was there on time both days and worked late on the first day to make sure he could finish it on the second. Was good value compared to other quotes and also did an other small job for me while he was there and didn't ask for anymore. Would definitel recommend and will be using again for other jobs I have.

The entire ground floor of a double fronted house in Clapham needs to have the floors sanded and varnished. I am looking for someone to come to the property on the 20 Aug and estimate for the work. I am afraid that I do not know the sqm but it is an entrance hall, a large reception room, a double reception room, a guest loo and a large "L" shaped kitchen diner.

Sanding original wooden floorboards in corridor and varnishing. Corridor is approx 5m long, 1m wide. The corridor turns a corner half way along towards the bedroom and there is one small step (in photo). Floorboards are generally in good condition, although some larger gaps between the floorboards.
Came on a weekend to give a quote and came to do the job promptly and within 1 day. Very happy with our newly polished wooden floors, would definately recommend. Jonathon was also polite, informative and helpful with any questions.

I have a roll of carpet that needs to be cut and laid by an experienced carpet fitter. I am looking to cut costs so will provide underlay if neccessary.
Came round, measured, cut up the roll and laid the carpet perfectly. He was polite, very hard working and we all thought he was great. I'd use him in the future and wholeheartedly recommend him.

Lay wood flooring throughout a small house approx. 90 square meters with addition of a s8 staircase (ground floor, approx. 45 square meters; staircase; upper landing and two bedrooms approx 45 square meters). Additional requirements: 1. Fit an engineered oak board on the ground floor. 2. Fit solid oak floor on the stairs and on the first floor. 3. Prepare the subflooring. This involves levelling irregularities in the concrete subfloor on the ground floor and securing the quite-rough floorboards on the first floor. 4. On the ground floor, lay ceramic tiles in the kitchen area, ensuring that the levels are consistent with the wood flooring. 5. Fit 3mm sound barrier underlay with moisture retention barrier under the wooden floor. 6. Identify and agree with customer the use of any strips necessary for levelling at door frames or between tiles and wooden floor. 7. Refit the skirting boards on the ground floor -- currently removed to allow for fitting. 8. Remove and refit the skirting boards on the first floor. 9. Provide a written quotation detailing all works.
