"A good job was done on laying some laminate flooring in our loft, but his work on laying the stair carpeting was very poor. The result was so poor that we are having to have the entire area re-done, via another contractor (to our cost) as this firm refused to acknowledge that their work was substandard. The main issues with the work were: 1) The job was rushed and several areas of the stair carpeting are patchy and look unfinished. 2) He cut into the wood panelling of the stairs with a knife and left deep scratches and chips that we now have to fill in and paint. This was brand new, freshly painted wood. 3) The carpet itself has not been laid well and has already started to come away in places, which is unsightly and presents an unacceptable safety risk. We tried to resolve the issue amicably with him but he did not return calls and ignored emails. We would advise other users not to do business with this contractor. "
