Budget Under £250

Job I've bought the carpet, underlay and door trimmers and need it fitted in this weekend. I live in Colliers Wood, South London.

Comment After the first carpet fitter we got through good old yellow pages who made a small mistake that had expensive circumstances, we had to look for another guy. Thankfully, Shaun responded to my ad really quickly and was available within the week. He seemed very friendly and was not a pushy salesmen. He lived locally and so within a day or two, he popped over to see what work he had ahead of him. He inspected the hall and stairs thoroughly, gave me a detailed explanation of what i should expect and suggested ways to ensure we didnt waste any carpet. On the day itself, he measured everything accurately, cut delicately and with precision, and matched the stripes to sheer perfection. It took a little bit longer than expected but you could see he cared about his work. He was tidy and cleared away any rubbbish and just left us with beautifully laid carpet and big smiles. Shaun is a friendly and genuinely nice lad who you can trust. He is a flooring specialist and also pays an interest in other areas of home improvements such as tiling and plumbing which helps him plan better. The fact that he didn't charge a fortune was an added bonus. I will definately call on him again for any further flooring work and i would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs a flooring specialist, especially if you're fitting in striped carpet!
