We have a double sitting room and downstairs hallway where we want solid timber flooring installed over existing floorboards. We have bought the flooring and edging but not underlay; we need someone to recommend or supply underlay if it is needed and install the floor. It is a total of 27 square metres, with a perimeter total of 37 square metres. There are three doors, the front door, one into the living room and the other into the kitchen, though the last is a step.
Great job; he was actually the most expensive quote but filled us with confidence with the questions he asked and suggestions he made. Came back to finish the job without charging extra when it turned out I hadn't bought enough materials and we had to wait for a delivery.Polly

Dimensions as follows;
Reception 14.82 m sq
Hall 7.76m sq
Bedroom 13.64m sq
Bedroom 9.36m sq
Total 45.63m sq
Father and son team who are honest, reliable and hard working. Old style pride in their work and very tidy. Strongly recommend.laura
Hi there,
We are looking to get our wooden floors (pine ?) stripped / sanded, and then re-varnished in a deep oak colour. There is about 30 sq meters of surface, covering the hallway, the kitchen and the living room. Some of the furniture can be moved around the house, but it would be difficult to put it outside.
Renny has done a sterling job stripping our wooden floors entirely, and varnishing them in dark oak, having been presented with several samples to choose from. They look stunning, and beautifully finished.
Also, we trusted Renny with our keys as we went on holidays while the work was being done, and as expected, everything was in order when we returned. I would recommend Renny for any work to be done on wooden floors. He is also friendly and accomodating, which comes as a bonus !

25m2 living room with two fire places. Concrete surrounds the fireplaces - needs removing and replacing with floorboards. All floorboards in the room need sanding/repairing/varnishing (as appropriate). They've not been sanded before but the wood looks to be in fairly good condition.
It was a harder-than-expected job which meant some of the finishing details needed extra work (which Jonathan was happy to put in). He gave us advice throughout and always consulted us when decisions needed making. Highly recommended!Rosie
We own a victorian terrace house and we are looking to find someone to fit some engineered wood floors in our hallway and dining room - currently there is carpet layed down over old (non restorable) wooden floors.
Kevin was great, the work had a good finish, and he kept the mess to a minimum (always a good thing). He also completed the job early - what more could you ask for? A really reliable guy, with good ideas and a really inobtrusive manner. Claire
Need very dirty floorboards sanded in Living room 13ft x 12ft roughly.
A good job well done & I am very pleased with the results. They even shifted my sofa for me which was realy good of them. Very friendly & polite also. No mess left behind either. I would definately reccomend them.A
I have a laminate wood floor which I want re-fitted in my new living room. The rooms are the same size and the floor is in excellent condition.
Chris was amazing, he bent over backwards to help us, he even spent time sourcing florring that had been discountinued to help us save money. He found it, came up with a fantastic solution and the floor looks fabulous. Brilliant Tradesman and very friendly and professional.Karen

We live in a Victorian terrace in Camberwell, with an unused loft space which at present we simply put boxes into as far as we can reach. We do not want to do a loft conversion, but we would like to re-insulate the loft and put hardwood flooring down, with a new hatch/ladder attachment to enable us to fully utilise the loft as storage space - i.e. be able to climb up there and store boxes in an organised manner. Not sure about the total flooring area, but if anyone would like to visit and give us an approximate quote that would be very helpful
I've got three rooms with pine flooring (in average condition, poorly sanded in the past), approx 18 sq m + 15 sq m + 13 sq m, which need to be sanded. Also I'm keen for any creaks and squeaks to be fixed and gaps filled. I am planning to use a Swedish soap finish (self-applied), so all I need is for the floors to be smoothly sanded but not laquered/polished. As a new home owner I am looking for a competitive price, taking into account that the floor is not to be "finished" and I've got very little furniture (so moving around the rooms should be simpler). I am happy to take time off work to lend a hand if that impacts the time spent and price.

Floor is already sanded (probably could do with a light run again). The problem is the gaps between and then the floor needs to be varnished. Generally finish the job
