Real wood solid floor to be fitted into a hall way and lounge, leave gaps on the side for fitting of doors and shirting later. The Flat has concrete floor, I have the wood flooring other bits to buy as required.
Vladislovas Pravilonis has completed two jobs for me firstly fitting a solid wood floor in my Hall and Living room; then fitting new doors and skirting to the the rest of the flat. they worked effectively and always gave me daily feedback, seeing the completed instalation really has made a difference to the property and it now feels like a home rather than somewhere I live. I have reclaimed parquet flooring that i want fitting in an open plan living space and hallway. Roughly 50sqm i think. Its not tongue and groove but square edged with holes and pegs to fit together and still has the old bitumen on the bottom which ive been told doesnt need to be removed. The open plan area has a new concrete floor and the hallway needs the existing floorboards removed (due to woodworm damage and unevenness) and plyboard laying on the joists before fitting the parquet. I would like it fitted in a square herringbone style and would also like it sanded and varnished.
