Job We are looking for your help with fitting laminate flooring in our living room and entrance lobby. Please would you suggest your daily rate with and without the material.

Comment Kieren has done an excellent job for us. We found his work at our house very professional. Keiren was very helpful and provided a lot of his expertise and knowledge in helping us identify the right materials to use for laminatess. He also did some tiling work for us which we had not planned but decided to do on Keiren's guidance and we are delighted with the outcome. We would definitely be using his expertise and his skills for other work around the house like tiling and decorating. Thanks Kieran Puja

Budget Under £250

Job I want to lay striped carpet on stairs and upstairs landing. I have had it measured and it is about 12.20 sq m. I have seen the carpet and would like to buy it by the end of the day so if someone is interested in doing this contact me asap.

Job Remove old floorboards and fix new ones with a new joist in one side of the room to bring all floorboards to level. I live in Isleworth and what I want is a reasonable quote and immediate start as my son will be 14 on the 18th December. This room is a birthday gift. Thank you.

Budget I'm not sure

Job The edges of a number of the laminate tiles have lifted due to water coming up from underneath the floor (having poured down the walls from the flat above). Much of the (small) hallway is affected and a little way into the bedroom. Not all tiles are ffected and the rest are in perfect condition. I don't know what type of laminate they are as I didn't put the floor in. At this stage I need a quote to provide to the insurance company so not sure when the work will be carried out. If the tradesmen can quote for painting that would be great as there are watermarks on the hall ceiling from the same damage.

Comment Overall I was really happy with the work. The tradesman and his assistant were professional, pleasant, punctual, reliable and hardworking. Felt very happy leaving them in my home all day knowing I'd come back to lots of progress. They were also very happy to come back to sort out any painting touch ups and a few glitches in the flooring - nothing was too much trouble. I'd use them again. Caroline

Budget I'm not sure

Job Parquet flooring 2rooms requires sanding and finishing. Rm1:3.8mx3.4m Rm2: 3.6mx4.1m conservative. Both rooms are empty and awaiting painting, so no issues with dust/covering key items. Room 1 (Dining Room) is an interior room. Room 2 (Lounge) will have windows installed last week in Nov - ie sanding of this room would be required prior to windows installed. Finishing with Bona coating, preferably (can buy material if required).

There are 4 main office areas, a reception area, rear foyer/entrance hall,and a central staircase which requires carpeting to existing aluminium nosings. 16 no.risers. No curves, 1 room has 3 no. columns. Exterior edges to rooms will be underneath 3 compartment trunking

He was however, professional and proactive enough to phone me to inform me of the situation, and that he would be with me the following day. He promised me that, by bringing in extra resources he would still have the work completed within the agreed time frame. I'm happy to say that he delivered on his promise, and that he will be on my preferred supplier list for all future projects. mark
