Laying an engineered wood floor (sourced elsewhere) in a hallway and kitchen-diner totalling 27m2. We have been told that this should cost around £10 per m2 hence the 'rough budget' bracket below - but would like your suggestions!
V pleased with our engineered oak floor. Mark is a v professional experienced fitter with good eye for detail. There was a problem after fitting (some areas were springy) but Mark worked another day to refit the affected parts. The end result is superb. Our one reservation is that we had to spend quite a lot of time along the way trying to get hold of Mark: he wasn’t good at getting back to us when he said he would. Like other tradesmen who are good at their craft & in demand, he probably needs a secretary!

We are looking for somebody to lay a blue lias flagstone floor in our Grade II listed cottage. It's over 4 rooms (kitchen, utility, hallway, cloakroom) but with total surface area of <25sqm and continous flooring (i.e. no steps or door strips). We are happy to seal and grout in order to reduce costs. Ideally, we would like the work to be carried out early December. Budget is up to £1,000 and we are open to suggestions of how to attain this.
Originally we had gone for another tradesman who was available sooner and slightly cheaper, but when he let us down Mick and Paul fitted us in and did a brilliant job. They were professional (turning up bang on time), courteous, left the place in good condition, were affordable and, above all, the work was carried out to a very high standard.

I require some concrete floor joints dug out and redone with expansion joints abd a smooth scree finish.
I was keep informed at all time as to when the work would be done. The work had to be done in two stages and this was carried out without any issues at all. They kept the site clean and tidy and work aroud our business. I would fully recommend this Company to anyone.

Approx 45m2 of floorspace needs laminate flooring installed (with underlay). Space is split into a 6.17x3.56 lounge, 3.58x3.31 bedroom, 3.06x2.81m 2nd bedroom, and a hallway (~6mx1m). The flooring and underlay will be provided (unless you can get a particularly good deal on them!) It is a new build, so no flooring needs removing, and floors are in good condition and prepared.
I'm very pleased with the flooring put down by these guys, they were professional and honest despite it taking longer than they expected! I'd recommend them.
