Liked CID very much and based on that-gave them the work there & then. Quote verbally given (requested in writing but never came) but was happy to proceed on the day rate (x 3) quoted. Workmen x 2 arrived,did work to very high standard & on time. Happy.I did not however expect the Day Rate to be based on a PerMan PerDay basis so ended up paying 3 days x 2 men. Twice what I had expexted. Paid it but expressed my dissapointment. Perhaps I was naieve, perhaps more cynical types would express a different view.

We are after someone to lay a solid wood floor in our lounge. The lounge is a rough square (4.16m x 4.28m) with a fireplace hearth sticking out on one side (1.24m x 0.84m). The room has two doors. The underfloor is timber. We would be looking for someone to fit the floor along with the beading around the edges. We already have the floor and beading but no other materials.
Excellent service. Was able to fit us in at short notice, beating many quotes. Arrived promptly as advised and completed the job in the suggested time frame. I would definitely use again for any other flooring we require.

1 room say 5m x 4m. Parquet is hardwood,but not oak. Reasonable condition but general wear with scratches and dents. Level but needs sanding and finishing and varnishing
Mark was very knowledgeable and reliable. We were very pleased to have him do the job for us. The fine parquet floor had not been touched for decades and was in need of a professional to bring it back to life. Mark achieved that. We intend to use him to do the other floors.
