"The Company name is Mulberry Garden and not nhe as listed.
They began in Feb. and assured me the cost of the entire garden makover(back and front garden) would be £6,000 which I accepted. Already purchased by me and on site were the bricks for replacing the two small grass areas, and rocks for the two already dug ponds. Two new pond liners were required, I specified Butol. Two extra jobs were found to be necessary namely replacing the pergola and nine 6ft fence panels with concrete posts.
The two persons I took on have not been on site for four weeks, they have sent two, I feel to be, incompitents who have used my tools and broken them, together with damageing my gate. The ponds do not have a Butol liner, scant rocks have been used with the liner showing and an unnatural waterfall, and the pond is leaking. Pruning of trees/shrubs have been left with stumps above ground level to trip over, the pergola, brick area, pump for pot water feature not on site and not connected, with a pile of sand left in my front driveway (not for my use)All skips have been ordered and paid for by me. There has only been the 9 fence panels, posts and the wood for the pergola that they have had to buy. The total paid to date has been £13,000, £7,000 over the agreed price. I have tried to contact Messers Cox and Lidgard which has resulted in text message informing me the may be back in two weeks time, (they have not been here for 4 weeks to date) I have obtained an 'opinion' and photo's of the condition of the work by Mulberry gardens by a reputable contractor suggested by my solicitor, who was shocked at the money requested and the state of my garden. "
