Hi, I am looking for some garden maintenance. The back garden is relatively small, but hasn't been looked after well. Other than mowing the lawn there is a lot of rubbish that needs to be cleared. There are several black bags as well that ideally could be taken away. I am ready to have the work done straight away and I work at home and so any such time is fine. I have put off having the work done recently as the weather hasn't been great, but it has now got much better. I live in Heaviley, Stockport. Many thanks.

Gardener needed for a fairly large well established garden, for maintenance including pruning, re-planting, new planting, mowing lawn, keeping tidy. Probably needed once every 2 weeks, for 2 hours following initial visit.

I have a large garden that is a mess, I want half of it turfing and maybe some flags putting down for a seating area. I want it to look nice for summer but nothing too extravagant. It needs to be low maintenance as I hate gardening.
Not brilliant, job seemed rushed and towards the end nothing was done properly. My 'patio' area to the rear is not laid properly, it is uneven and wobbly. He told me twice that he hadn't cut the stppng stones in because I might want to move them, I told him they were fine but they still haven't been fixed into place, they are wobbly too. He didn't tidy up after himself and left pallets and empty sacks all over my front yard.Still waiting for him to call back after my husband told him we weren't happy!

The lawn needs cutting, the borders weeden and kept tidy and the hedges cut as and whne needed. There are two other gardens that I would like to be quoted on and the job is similar to that described above.
John is extremely knowledgeable about the care and maintenance of the garden. He is the first gardener, in 5 years, who's listened and acted on my requests whilst also offering help and advice accordingly.

The bolts that fix our side gate to the side of our house are loose so when the gate is opened the gate support comes away from the wall. Also there is a bolt missing from our front garden gate which means it must be lifted in order to shut it.
The job was done withing a few days of posting our request and I am very pleased with the repairs made.

Small front garden, mainly borders around double driveway with tiny lawn in front of bay window
Medium back garden 20m x 8m, mostly lawn with borders - low maintenance
Needs pruning/tidying to bring back to shape and then fortnightly maintenance
Lawn will need some work - mainly clay and poor soil condition - house 7 yrs old
Louis provided me with a very reasonable quote and was able to do the clearance of my garden very quickly (within a week). The garden looks great and he has taken away the rubbish. Highly recommended.
