Updated : This system wont let me specify I want to discuss budget. I want to discuss options and then look at the budget required for those options. I think whoever prices this job needs to visit first so they can see the current state of the patio. I've already begun dismantling the pond and will keep on. Paving stones used to build up the sides of the pond will need re-laying to form patio plus whatever we decide upon for the main raised (and unfinished) patio area. Original : This is a patio area measuring approx 4m x 3m. Started by the previous owners of the house. There is currently stones/gravel/sand and rubble 'retained' by a stone wall (which looks to have not been mortared) which is approximately 40cm in height. It has a curved edge tapering toward the corner of the house where there was once a pond (now drained with liner etc removed). Would like advice on leaving ventilation/drainage where the air bricks of the house are and a quote to complete the job. Would like to use the existing stones if there are enough (Flat crazy paving style that were lifted to create the pond area). This could potentially lead onto further work to create a flagged pathway down the side of the house with a gate etc.

Mark did a good job and left everywhere tidy. His rates were very reasonable. He made a small mistake with the height of the fencing, but was able to rectify the problem. I would certainly use him again.
