Reviews of Gardeners & Garden Designers in Dorset

Alton Pancras, DT2

Under £100
Greenhouse. My Mum has purchased an Eden Countess Royal 5' x 6' Greenhouse it has been put together loosely (as told in the instructions) but when it comes to put it onto the base (Railway Sleepers) and tighten it all up before fitting the glass, the glass won't slide in. It has beaten several different adults, we're looking for a real expert to get this greenhouse installed once and for all!
Rarely have I seen a tradesman work so diligently and show such attention to detail. Most tradesmen accept second best, he certainly did not and when I was almost happy, he clearly was not. He solved a very big headache indeed for me. In fact he was so good we paid him 50% extra for the superb job that he did. I fully intend to employ him again in the future. I am happy to be contacted about his standard of work and this is a completely straight up and honest review!

When Jeff came to quote for the work he arrived on time and understood the requirements, specifically how long it would take. Since then he has come as arranged (every couple of weeks), and done what we asked him to do, and done a good job.

Front garden 4m*6m. 3 borders, centre is slate/shingle Back garden 10m*9m. 3 borders, lawn in centre. Large Apple tree and Holly tree Work required: cutting/feeding lawn and edges, weeding begs and borders, pruning as requird, cut hedge (Laurel), some planting
My garden has been looked after by Croft Gardening for 2 months now, and it looks great! They text me each week which day they will come, and I text them if there is anything specific that might need attention. They look after the lawn, beds and shrubs; and cover any other jobs I have asked. I love my garden, but do not have any time to do the gardening! They have taken this job away from me, and I think it is very good value; for the size of my front and back gardens the cost is £30 every 2 weeks.

The job was completed to my complete satisfaction and I will be very happy to use this company again and would happily recommend them. They took time to explain what was in my garden and what plants I have in the garden and what I can do to keep them alive and keep the garden looking good.

have large corner garden, which has noot been maintained. Need it designed for very easy management. Has lots of shrubs, but has been neglected
I was given a quote from Sean, and the work was carried out. My garden had been neglected, and Sean came in and re-modernised it all. Sean took time to talk through the options available to me, and gave expert advise, as I did not know what I wanted. IT LOOKS ABSOLUTLY FABULOUS. Sean starts work early, and finishes late. He works extremely hard, and does not stop, (even for a cuppa!) He is polite and very methodical. I would recommend Sean to anyone who wanted work done to a very high standard. I have more work to be done, and will be contacting Sean in the near future to carry out the work. I just want to thank you Sean, for giving me such a lovely garden that I can now enjoy.

I want to buy my elderly, but keen gardener dad, a Christmas present of time in 2013 with a gardener to follow instructions and keep on top of his general garden planting and maintenance as he is not really fit enough to do this himself. I want to know how much per hour it would be and if any-one could do a gift voucher type thing.
