I was very happy with the work that Colin and Sam did for me in the garden. I was informed at all times of what was going on and what was required of me. Colin went out of his way a few times to help with things and even with a few issues with his van everything went smoothly. They both worked extremely hard and I would use Help Is At Hand again for other areas around the house

Looking at cost, would prefer cheapest option out of brick or wooden sleepers inc labour.
Were great from start to finish, very dedicated, reliable and completed on time. Work of a very good standard and would use JP Garrard again; Can not fault commitment in making sure job was completed as I wanted it to be.

I need to replace a fence run of 5 panels and 6 posts. The old fence needs removing but is almost entirely down after bad weather. 6 foot panels are needed.
Excellent service arrived on time and completed within original time estimate. The work was of a very high standard and would recomment to anyone. Like other ratings we too have asked for quotes for more work as would definitely trust this company to undertake more extensive work.

flatten lawn area and replace with paving to make garden low maintenance

I'm not sure
We have 2 existing Patio areas that both need to be revamped: 1) 35'x6' needs to be relaid using existing slabs if possible levelling out to cover concreted area so that a small shed can eventually be placed on it. We need 2 semi circular steps added, one 2 step outside a Patio door & a smaller one step outside the back door. 2) 21'x7'6" is a raised patio area at the back of the garden. Again needs to be relaid with existing slabs as a minimum but may want to deepen the area by half a slab and make changes to the existing brick wall edge and add in some extra steps. Open to ideas.
