Updated : The job is to repair existing walls stones and only the top stones are loose so only material required would be fixing material. Original : Garden walls need mending and kerb stones re-fitted. Loose/broken steps fixed
Ronnie was very good. I would reccomend him and use him again. Linda McAdamLinda
Remove 11 larch lap panels and dispose of. Replace with new panels - 2 x 6ft x 6ft, 1 x 6ft x 5ft, 8 x 6ft x 4ft. Would prefer criss-cross design as it seems to handle wind better. Existing posts seem ok.
Excellent job. Good price and done quickly. Finished when promised. Would certainly recommend, and use again in future. Scott
I have 7 picket fence panels and necessary posts to be erected along the line of an existing wall in the back garden. One panel needs a gate in it so the neighbor's children can come in for their football - nothing fancy. The garden is on a slope and the fencer will need to supply a couple of 4x4 posts for a section which is higher than the standard posts supplied with the panels.
Great fencing job done on time despite horrible weather. Reliable friendly service - would definitely recommend and would call Acorn Home and Garden for future jobs. Jen

The pergola is wooden - 8ft wide, 7ft high, gft deep. Covered in overgrown clematis, the weight of which has caused it to lean to one side. We need the clematis cut back and the pergola straightened and reset in the ground. ASAP as it is damaging the neighbours hedge

Remove old panel-type fencing (approx 17 panels, 6 ft high)and 2 lengths (about 14 m about 3 ft high and a further 7 m about 5 ft high) of old ranchstyle and replace it all with new ranch-style. One other section to be checked for condition and replaced if necessary. All old bits rotten so will need posts, etc removed and new ones concreted in. Price with and without painting. Quote to be broken into section for sharing costs with different neighbours.

I need a general tidy-up/clear out in the back garden. This includes grass cutting & edging, quite a bit of weeding (including an area approx 6ft X 10 ft, a rockery, the flower beds surrounding the edge of the back garden and in-between the paving stones), hedge cutting and there are a few bushes which need trimmed back. No ongoing maintenance required.
