Garden tidy up. Weeding and pruning bushes.
Both front drive, side enterance and back garden.
Think I could have got someone cheaper if I had shopped around. Work was rather rushed and overpriced. Would try another tradesman before using them again.

Barney did a garden makeover for me and the garden looks fantastic. I would recommend him again BUT ONLY to customers wanting landscaping. My experience was that there was a lack of attention to detail when saving existing plants. Quite a few of my plants were lost under landscaping fabric, others were pulled up.The labourers worked very hard but again they were clumsy with my stuff. They did not have their own electrical supply nor hose pipes or extension leads which was slightly annoying.They broke the hose pipe but did not tell me, they took (possibly by mistake) some other bits and pieces.I did email but no response- but it has left me £50 out of pocket which is also annoying ..
You probably won't get any written receipt for the works & he prefers to be paid cash. They don't work weekends .
What is agreed with Barney is not always what happens as his guys have difficulty understanding english and I found him to be a bit forgetful.
Finishing touches were a bit iffy and I had to remind them to complete several things- like rubbish clearance, replanting dug up plants.
All in all I would recommend Barney for landscaping but not actual gardening and would expect him to have his own power supply and essential tools.The customer service is a bit lacking I felt like he was rushing to go somewhere else I doubt if I would recommend him to friends but this is based purely on customer service or lack of it.

Afternoon,
We would like a quote for some work in our garden. It involves the building of some raised beds (probably 4 of them, all in L shapes, 2m on the longer sides and 1m on the widths), putting gravel down between them etc and also putting in a flat area with paving s;abs for a greenhouse to be erected at a later date. We would also like to put an irrigation system in the front garden as well as take a water source from the house down to the bottom of the garden where the raised beds will be installed.
Also the replacement of gravel on approximately 15m of path (I have removed two thirds of the old gravel; the paths have a concrete base so it is quite straight forward but maybe a material sealed with resin would be good to stop soil building up in it again). We'd also like some edging installed along the flower beds / lawn to smarten it up.
Finally the lawn is in a pretty bad state with lots of moss so we'd like a quote for scarifying it and treating it as it needs some attention.
