I need a new garden fence put up on the left side of my garden. The length of the garden is 12.4m. I would like wooden panels (W1.83m x H1.8m) laying on concrete gravel boards. The posts would also be concrete H shape. I would also like a trellis put on top. The old fence is a 1m high wire fence with wood posts. This would need to be removed. There is also one old wood fence panel to be removed. On the right hand side of the garden there currently is a brick wall of about 1m high between the garage and the house - I need that raised (also in brick) to about 1.8m (so 80cm more height). The wall is 4m long. I need a quote for labour and removal of rubbish. I would buy the materials myself (unless tradesman can provide better prices than B&Q, wickes or screwfix). Thanks.
It is always difficult to choose a tradesman and even more so when there are no previous ratings from other people to base your choice on. I had three tradesmen coming to quote on the job and Peter was not only the one offering the best value for money, he seemed to be the most knowledgeable about this kind of work out of the three choices. He also gave me insight as to what materials I needed without even knowing if I would choose him. The price quoted was very competitive not only for the labour but also for the materials so I was doubly happy that I could have the whole job done without lifting a finger. Peter and his partner worked tirelessly and finished all the work in a very short time, without compromising on quality - in fact they even dug up one of the posts that was already set in concrete as it was slightly at the wrong level. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any gardening job and I am sure I will use their services again myself. Thanks very much!

The back garden is small (approx 6m x 6m + 2m x 6m patio). Garden and patio need to be cleared of weeds. Garden is mainly stones with three sides of shrubs/flowers. Weeds are everywhere - coming through the stones and in the border flowers. Someone who knows the difference between flowers/shrubs and weeds is needed. The patio and front drive both need clearing of weeds as well. I have sprayed weed-killer on the stone area and the patio and the front drive.
Nick arrived on time, was very personable and worked very hard for 5 hours with hardly a break on an overgrown garden. (Just keep him stoked up with tea!) I am very pleased with the result and he gave plenty of tips on maintaining the garden. Highly recommended!

Back garden approximate 100ft with some decking at rear. Mature shrubs, ivy and trees all overgrown. Large lawn Needs preparing for the winter. No Planting required.
Very punctual and friendly. They even came back a second time to complete some things. A pleasure to deal with.
