Excellent job done by the knowledgeable and friendly Speed Gardens. Carried out work at a time convenient to me and at a reasonable price. I have already asked for quote for another potential job.Lynsey
58 St Julians Farm Road, West Norwood Conversion of a pebbled garden to turfed lawn including drainage of existing pond and filling in. Erection of fence on one side of garden. Garden approx. 15m deep by 5m wide.
Overall, we were very pleased with the service provided by Brian and we now have a beautiful garden which we love.
We chose Brian to do the work because he was so enthusiastic about it when he came round for the first visit. He spent a good amount of time discussing the work required, considering how best to go about the work and offering useful suggestions and ideas as to how the garden might look once finished (with creative input from his wife). It was clear that the service Brian was offering was a thorough and complete service which would transform the space fully into the garden we wanted.
We were not disappointed and in the end the garden was pretty much laid and finished in the space of a a few days - I was very impressed at how quick the process was.
Brian always ensured that he would discuss with me before he did anything to the garden that he was unsure of. Brian was also very flexible in his working hours and as he lived close by was always willing to come round either first thing or late in the evening with short notice to discuss anything.
It is clear that Brian is a perfectionist in his work but there were a couple of minor points which were left undone at the end, however Brian was more than happy to come round and rectify these - and continued to provide me with useful gardening tips.
We are happy we chose Brian to do the work and would recommend Brian's services to anyone.

long narrow garden makeover. riased beds, seating, lighting and tiled paving.
Some aspects were well thought through however project management requires planning ahead and this didn't always happen. As a result some of my plants have died.
I often felt that I wasn't being listended to which was hard as I couldn't make myself understood. Language presented a hurdle too as some of the workers were not fluent in English.
Slawek is very charming and I would recommend his company, especially if you do not have a design in mind.Heather
There is an area approx 4x5m that needs to be completely cleared of plants. These are mainly shrubs and a few brambles. There is a small tree stump that also needs to be cut off at ground level. The area will be covered with decking one day, so as long as the small tree stump is sealed it doesn't need to be removed completely.
There is also a paved path that needs clearing of weeds (there aren't very many). Finally the lawn (approx 5x6m) needs a general tidy up - cutting and removing weeds from the edges.
The guys turned up bang on time, and quickly talked through the work to be done with me. After giving me a very reasonable price indeed, they went to work and worked really hard. They finished more quickly than they said they would, and did more than they said they would too! Everything was left beautifully tidy and overall we were very pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend Sparkling to friends or neighbours.Richard
Our back garden needs a tidy up, lots of shrubs need cutting back for winter and also possibly some pruning on our acacia tree. Our front garden could also use a quick tidy too.
Not sure how big our garden is, but our house is a semi detached 1930's house so hopefully that'll give you an idea of the size.
I am really pleased that I picked Jenny to do our gardening work. She is reliable and works really hard to get the job done.Ali

Quotes for the following work:
Small patio area - approx 4m by 3m, needs to be paved. Currently concreted. Paving can sit on top.
Also need to flatten a section of the garden i.e. soil removal and lawn to be laid. This depends on the cost of the paving as to whether there is enough budget left to do this.

I have a plum tree that needs pruning - it is approximately 22 foot high and 20 foot wide. It is growing next to the house, in the garden of my downstairs neighbour. Access is easy.
I would like it pruned back significantly to around half the size whilst retaining a nice shape.

I would like some rubbish clearing and the construction of two raised beds, approx 1M wide x 2M long x 0.5M high. The beds are to be filled with rich soil / manure for the growth of vegetables.
Quote required that includes all materials (including earth for beds), removal of rubbish and waste materials.
