I'm not sure
The pavers outside our gate have been raised by our tree and we need either the pavers lowered or the gate trimmed. Also the lock on the door was not installed property and the latch rubs against the strike plate. The lock mechanism seems not set-in properly. The gate is 1.5meters tall and has two hinged doors (each 2meters wide).
Julian was extremely professional and completed the job expertly. It must not have been easy to fix other tradesmens' mistakes. He contacted me promptly and arrived at my home at the agreed time. I would highly recommend him when you want high quality service from a true professional at an extremely reasonable price.

the tree in my front garden needs pruning, as the roots will start to interfere with the foundations of the house if not done. I don't want it chopped down, and want to remove only what's essential. It's a tall lime tree, as are all the trees in my road. I'd like to know how often such a job needs doing, and what the job's proper name is, as I realise pruning may be an ambiguous term. I'm also interested in what time of year is best to do this, despite the fact right now it may be a matter of urgency. Thanks.

The job will entail paving, decking and raised planted borders built from blocks that will then be rendered. General landscaping and laboring will need to be done and perhaps some planting. The property is an Architects home and so attention to detail is a must, I will expect to see examples of previous work and may ask for references. I have a complete set of detailed drawings for you to work and price from. I will only work under a contract with a fixed price. We would like the work to start ASAP. If this is a successful project/relationship there will undoubtedly be future work for you from myself and clients. Obviously you will need your own tools though we do already have a concrete mixer on site.
