Not happy, as the work has not been completed and it is falling apart already, and the garden has been left like a building site, with us clearing it with a pickaxe. The quote was on a par with others that we had received though in looking at the work that was recommended to us, we thought that it looked to be better, without having the opportunity to speaking to the clients. Some work corrected whilst there. Just rushed at the end, and he's not willing to sort out the problems, and outstanding work.

We have two large coniferous trees in the back garden that we would like cut down and removed, and a tree in the front that needs trimming and cosmetic re-shaping. We would like quotes for this work.
Local Tree Care attended promptly, and offered an excellent rate to carry out the work the same day. Work was carried out to high quality, and they were kind enough to remove and chip some branches we had trimmed ourselves from other trees, saving us a trip to the local tip. Pleasure doing business.

I have a summer house that is leaking heavily due to recent rainfall. The current roof is not adequate and it needs something more heavy duty such as corrugated roofing panels (with overhang to protect the walls and windows). The summer house is approx 8 foot square. I am also wanting the inside of the summer house painting cream. I have already purchased the paint. There is some mould that may need cleaning up on the underside of the roof before painting.
In short, Ken offered a reliable and high quality service. He completely renovated an old summerhouse by building it a new roof and painting the inside. He also made it water tight by patching up the holes on the inside - a job that I had not asked him to do but was GREATLY appreciated. Needless to say, I would not hesitate in recommending him. His workmanship is top notch and he is a lovely character who can be trusted to turn up on time and get the job done for a reasonable price. Thanks Ken :)

September 2012, originally we just wanted the back garden flagging, a tree taking out and my old decking replacing. We have 2 young dogs and required a low maintenance garden. Chris gave us fantastic ideas and now our garden has style, with subtle lighting. All of the team were so friendly and hard working and even let our dogs out whilst we were at work. Our garden now looks like an extension to the house. We are so pleased with the work they have done that we want them to do the front garden next year.

Need a tree cutting down. Its a eucalyptus tree, and its as tall as the house.
Excellent service! I had a tree cut down last year by a different company and they left all tree sap on my patio which took AGES to remove. This is why I used Ratedpeople.com. The team we're excellent, within 2 days of accepting the quote the team were onsite and had the whole garden cleared within 1 day, there was a delay due to a mixture of Suppliers coupled with the Jubilee weekend and of course the wonderfull British weather! however once the materials were onsite the team completed the job effortlessly. A Great bunch of lads who have done an excellent job and have completely transformed my garden into a wonderful family space. I would highly recommend Chris and his team. .

Updated : I forgot to mention that there is some rubbish in the garden too that would need clearing - mainly wood (part of old shed and fence panelling) Original : My back garden is very messy and we just don't have the time to tackle it - it's very overgrown and needs tidying prior to trying to sort out what we can do with it. We have a 3 year old grandson and would like to try and get the garden into some order, perhaps laying some turf, before the summer arrives. I think after the work has been done, then some form of maintenance might be needed on a regular basis if the right person/price can be found.
I am extremely satisfied with the work done at my property today. There was a lot more rubbish to be cleared than at first thought and the lads have cleared this without any problems. The general garden tidy up is brilliant. I was quoted for the work yesterday, and as they had had a cancellation, the work was done today and I can't thank them enough for the hard work they have put in. I would not hesitate to use them again, and most certainly will do.

Hi there, My garden is in pretty good shape however I have a lot of overgrown roses and other perenial bushes - I have no idea what I am doing with them and don't want to kill anything by over pruning. The garden needs a really good once over and tidying up. There are a few things which need removing properly such as an old metal bin which I can't transport due to a small car however this part isn't essential. The concrete posts are mostly fine so will not need replacing (although some minor maintenance may be required on a few of them). 8-10 metres of wooden panel fencing at front of house to be replaced. Original : We are looking for prices for the following work:- We require a garden retaining wall building across the garden, along with a flagged patio area and steps up to the lawn. The back raised area of the garden would need to be turfed. We also require some flagging around the shed. The garden slopes from back to front, hence the need for the wall, we would like the wall double skinned so plants can grow in the middle. It is a new house garden and measures approx.30'x30'. There is a 6x 2'x2' flagged patio which would need to be made into a 5 wide by 8 long 2'x2' flagged patio approx. 30 extra flaggs and about 9/10 flaggs around the shed.

Currently we only want to pave but will consider quotation for turfing as well. - Need a small patio at the front and a small path to the bottom of the garden. -Our garden is approximately 5 x 9m. -The garden is untouched since brought. Original : We have a back garden which needs paving. I need a small patio at the front (approximately 2.1m x 5m), a path lead to the fence door (approximately 0.9m in width, wide enough for wheelie bin to be pulled through) and a small path for storing the wheelie bin so the paved area form sort of like a “C” shape around the garden. The overall area of the garden is approximately 5m in width and 9m in length. The garden is untouched since brought and there are 8 of 90 x 60cm slabs and 6 of 60 x 60cm slab already there which we want to use with the project. There are some weeds in the garden which we can clear prior to paving and the garden is slightly sloped. We expected both the small patio and small path at the end to be leveled and welcome any suggestion in terms of decoration and material. In terms of the center of garden we are undecided to whether to go for natural turf or artificial grass. If feasible we are happy to looking into a quotation for this as well.
