I Want to remove my old turf and replace it with new, I might have to use fresh topsoil and level it at the momen the lawn is uneven. I need to create a boarder round the edges for planting. These figures have been measured width and length but will be not excact because the lawn tapers. The measurments that I have are 16ft wide 37ft long, tapering to about 5ft 9''. There is a smaller patch wich i would like to do at the same time if finances permit this is 10.5'' wide 9ft long. I do not think that I can add anything else to help you give me a quote. This is not an imidiate job but I need possible figures so I can work to that goal
They turned up earlier than expected, they quick and polite. The job they did was excellent and the quality of the maerials they used was the same. My back garden needs flagging - there is also some brick work that needs re cementing.
I wanted my whole back garden digging out and flagging - I got several quotes in all for similar amounts but Alans quote was the only one that had any thought and planning to it. He listened to what I wanted and delivered. Considering that all the quotes were of a similar amount, it made me believe I was definitely getting value for money with Chestnut Paving. Would definitely reccomend them to family and friends

Cut grass front and back garden, remove weeds from patio and front pathway. Possible further work required in terms of new patio in rear garden.
In general happy with the work carried out, however they were a little too zealous in removing my borders (which I didn't ask them to do), came home to find shrubs which we had grown over the years removed (including a red acer), I appreciate that there were a lot of weeds in the border but one of my comments to Steve was I want the overgrown lawn cutting back then I can see what we have in the borders. Also whilst we didnt agree at the offset the that the price including removing of cuttings etc they apparently took away 30 bags, but when we looked at the bottom of the garden behind the shed a lot of cuttings were stacked up there. Along with approx 10-12 bags of cuttings stacked on the patio. Having made these comments we will ask Steve to come back and give a quote for the patio to be done, and maybe re-turfing of the grass.

THREE CONNIFER TREES, 8FT IN HEIGHT. EACH 2 FT WIDE.
I signed posted my details of the work i wanted doing on the website and within the hour i had a call from Mike at MC tree surgery. He came and quoted the work I wanted doing the same evening. He emailed later that night with a quote. This was very reasonable for the job I wanted doing- several large connifer trees removing and them taking away. He came a few days later and took them down. He was very polite and professional and cleaned up all the debris which was made from the work. He left my garden in a cleaner state that what it was before! I have asked him to quote other jobs I need doing also. I would higly recommend the company.

My back wooden gate has fallen off and I need a tradesman to fit a new one and probably supply a new one. The wooden gate was attached to brickwork on both sides and the posts that attached the gate to the brickwork have also gone (rotted away) so will need new struts as well. The current gate (that's broke) is probably about six foot tall by about three foot wide.

We need a new gate for our back yard. It must be supplied with hinges (the pin kind) and fitted to a brick wall as the current one is falling apart and the hinges are coming away from the wall. I haven't measured it exactly but I think the gate needs to be about 5'8'' x 3' and definitely wooden. The gate needs to be functional and fit our budget.

Does it need treating or do we need a new lawn? How much would a job like this cost? We would like the job done and ready for spring and summer. It will probably need some stones and ash, as well as some top soil.
