Need to re mortar joints in existing paving on garden patio. Can email photos if it would help.
We are very happy with the result and would use the service again. If there is a slight negative it is only some spots of overspilt mortar on the surface of the paving stones. The job was completed in two days (one short day and one long day) despite the quote being on the basis of 4 days work, and I think that if a little more time had been taken the cleaning up would have been a bit more thorough. On the plus side though it did mean we had our lovely new patio ready for a rare sunny weekend!Toni
1) Clear bushes and erect fence in their place.
2) Replace 2 existing fence pannels with higher pannels
Very pleasant and efficient. Came and gave speedy quote and completed the work to a great standard in a good timescale. Very helpful and ended up giving them more work due to helpful nature and recommendations.Deborah

Approx 18' x 20'. The area at the back is raised. Paving slabs, fencing, water feature. Some knowledge of plants would be good. Possible paving at front of back garden and decking on raised area (depends on cost).
After watching so many 'TV programmes about bad builders, i was more than a little apprehensive about putting my trust in a stranger - on so many levels; trust , honesty and skill issues being the main three. My tradesman put me at my ease at our first meeting. He came across as very genuine and not greedy or grasping (he actually made recommendations to reduce the cost of the job). He also brought his portfolio (which showed just how skilled and creative he was). I am so glad that i did chose him to do the job, as he has proved himself to be first class on every level. He worked long hours (most days arriving at 7.30am and not leaving until after 6pm). He was respectful (always clearing up at the end of the day, never being pushy or overbearing. Infact he was very unassuming). He was honest (he gave me a labour quote that he kept to, even though the job took longer than anticipated). He was also unobtrusive and pleasant. I pretty much left the design up to him (my only 'brief' was to have a grassless back garden). Before the work started it was a total mess; overgrown grass areas, bricks haphazardly thrown and the patio area uneven and apparentely sinking into itself. He showed great creativity and skill and i now find it hard to believe that the beautiful, almost palatial sight i see infront of my eyes is, indeed, in the same place that the wasteland had been in less than three weeks ago. After heaping all this praise on him, i hope he is not too inundated with requests, that he cannot find time to come back and do my front garden!!!!!!

Uprooting of recently cut down privet roots and replacement planting of 40yd evergreen hedge (species to be decided with gardener and next door neighbour)
I am completely delighted with this job. It was done exactly as agreed, efficiently, effectively, speedily and cheerfully and was reasonably priced. If I needed another gardening job to be done I wouldn't go anywhere else. And as a huge bonus they left the garden far tidier than it was when they started the job. In short the job couldn't have been done better and I pleased to be able to say that I can recommend them unreservedly.

A garage has been demolished in my back garden, leaving plenty of room and sunlight but an ugly concrete base.
The base is in the centre of the garden, bordered by Indian paving, block paving and an ugly old concrete path.
I need inspiration to turn a bit of a wasteland into a proper garden.

We want to make our garden low maintenance; clear out a lot of existing shrubs; plant new ones. Reshape beds; clear messy corners; make garden easier for us to keep on top of. We have quite a few big trees in our garden and surrounding so there are a lot of roots. Soil is not particularly good quality but we want the gardens (front and back) to look smarter.
