"They did not ask if it was OK to burn it. They built a bonfire. I queried if it was legal and they insisted that it was. When they gave us a price they did not say it was for cash. When the job was finished I asked how they wanted paying and they said they wanted two cheques made out to different names, which I gave them. Although the price included skip hire, we received no refund when the skip did not materialise. Warning to other users of this site get everything in writing from tradesmen then it's much easier, and if you want to stay out of legal trouble avoid this company. They don't mention that their bonfire made so much smoke that the Environmental Health Department came knocking on my door while they were there and threatened me as the householder with prosecution unless the fire was put out immediately. I have now received a written warning from Environmental Health."
