"Stage two has now been completed, the ground being cleared and leveled; concrete path and patio put down and two raised beds erected. Everything else has been woodchipped and it all looks fantastically tidy, probably because there are no plants yet! From the clearing of a shoulder-high jungle, to the woodchipping I have been constantly amazed at what these guys can achieve in what I thought was a ridiculously short space of time. Granted now and then the weather beat them as the rain sluiced down and a fine time was had during the concreting, which still has to be surfaced and made pretty but the weather was truly disgusting at the time. I am looking forward to the spring planting as long as I get my own way over the massed lavender banks. Seriously, though, the guys are very good and do take all your needs into consideration when planning. I would recommend them to anyone who needs heavy work done, especially if they have giant jars of coffee in the kitchen and like happy bouncing men all over their gardens. I had no idea getting a new garden would be so much fun - and a damn sight cheaper than I thought, too."
