Simon was very professional from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and had some great ideas to help with the project. Simon was very polite and did a good quality job, I would highly recommend him and will be asking for Simon to do further work for me in the near future...
doing the spade work to clear neglect, then regular garden maintenance
I am not a person given to superlatives, but Mark has been very good at listening to what I would like, and suggesting varuious things that might be an improvement, which have always been good. He is punctillious for time, and his work is first rate. Someone to be relied on and trusted.
Weekly gardening of Sheltered accommodation (32 flats) and surrounding gardening
This contractor has only started with me today, 13th November, so I am unable to rate his work at this stage, however, he is a very pleasant man and I know we will have a good working relationship.
re-inforce and level out soil by ditch plant hedging and wooden fencing.
lay patio and some tree surgery.
Excellent job: good advice and discussion in advance of starting work to get a clear picture of what I wanted, as well as updates while I was travelling and busy with my own work; they kept to their timetable and brief, and even came up with a supplementary suggestion (resurfacing my drive) which has set the whole garden improvements off to perfection. Plus, they dealt with difficult set-backs - some damage to the fencing - with remarkable aplomb and helpfulness. Highly recommended!

Probably more a job for a bricklayer/groundworker ( foundations) but your list is very limited, your budget cost also as I have no idea of cost hence req a quote so I have put under £4k as I have purchased the stone. Please note all materials have to be barrowed to the rear of the house, there is no room for diggers and dump trucks

General maintenance, pruning of trees, weeding, strimming
Updated : There would be a few days work initially then probably one day per week. It isnt difficult work just time consuming but very satisfying when its done. Its a very large garden so there's a huge diversity of work to be done. Original : We have a large garden with flower beds that need constant maintenance. The work would involve weeding, pruning, digging up of old plants, hedge trimming, lawn edge trimming, strimming and possibly some mowing with a motorised mower.
