1. Driveway: Area of approx 19ft x 16ft to be gravelled. The current ground is uneven concrete, and has suffered erosion and subsidence from the car.
2. Patio laying: Area of approx 11ft x 9ft to be laid. We already have the paving slabs (1.5ft x 1.5ft) and a quantity of sand on site. The turf on the site has been removed, and the ground below is a little stoney in places. This area will be load bearing (BBQ+table and charis+people). We also need 2 steps from house floor level to garden level to be installed (surface to be the same slabs as used for the patio). The ground on the site of these steps is uneven concrete, but we suspect that this is quite a thin layer.
3. Remainder of garden: An area of approx 23ft x 11ft to be gravelled over. In process of removing turf. This area will not be load bearing , and is just to ensure a low-maintenance garden.
