Our boiler needs its yearly service (it's one of the first Saunier Duval combi boilers), but also an engineer we can trust and rely on for future problems and services. We used to have an extremely reliable engineer who serviced and worked on our boiler explaining everything he was doing in detail, but he has unfortunately since emigrated to Australia. He used to charge £50 for a service (price correct as of this time last year) and did an excellent job.
Matthew arrived punctually and explained everything he was doing during the boiler service, with very reasonable rates.

Replacing an oil fuelled dometic boiler with an electrically powered boiler for hot water and central heating
Work started on the agreed date - no delays. Estimate for the work was 3-4 days and it took 3.5 days. All the new piping & connections were leak free on the first attempt. Boiler and hot water tank both installed without issue and working immediately on connection. Competent staff who were polite and provided good explanations of how the system worked. Easy to recommend these guys for domestic central heating work.

I have an old boiler (none condensing one) that heats water in hot water tank and also heats radiators. I would like to replace it with modern combi boiler. This job would include: 1) fitting a combi boiler, 2) removing a hot water tank from the airing cupboard (I will dispose it myself as I have a skip ordered) 3) If new boiler is condensating then there is no problem with drainage as sink (and drainage pipes) are next to the boiler. 4) boiler has to be a type that can be placed inside kitchen cabinet. Please qoute for cheap but reasonable quality boilers.
I had bolier replaced. The job was done very well. However here was quite a bit of mess left behind as well as quite ansty stain on the carpet. I still recommend as they delivered value for money.

Blank a 22mm gas pipe. Tee into an existing 22 mm gas pipe with a 15mm reducer and run new pipe through a wall and connect to an existing 15 mm gas pipe that feeds cooker.

I have a Glowworm 24ci combi boiler that is serviced annually and is heating the radiators fine - but the hot water is increasingly cool. It has for a long while had a tendency to deliver hot water initially for about a minute but then the temperature of the flowing water drops for about a minute.....but will then usually return. Recently, the temperature doesn't seem to be returning to anywhere near its starting point - even with the thermostat dial for hot water turned to the max position, lukewarm is the best it manages.

Before moving into a flat in a newish building I want the heating system renewed. A combi boiler needs to be fitted the other side othe wall where the existing boiler is. The old watertank to be removed and where possible old rads and piping can be used although I think at least three new (smallish) ones will be needed. The job will be needed to be done mid to late June, before I move in burt probably with other tradesman working at the same time.

I would like gas central heating installed. I have a 2 bed end of terrace house (kitchen/diner, lounge – stairs integral to lounge, downstairs hallway, landing – open to the stairs and lounge, 2 double bedrooms, small bathroom - currently heated by a towel rail) and would like a quote for a combi gas boiler please. Assuming that is the best for a smaller property. One radiator per room should be sufficient = 4 standard rads for lounge, kitchen and bedrooms – 1 small rad for hall – no heating in there presently. I don’t have gas to my home so would need to arrange that too. I live in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
