The existing boiler is a Myson Marathon, floor standing.
Very cheerful and pleasant. Took time over job to make sure it was finished. Left tidy and all rubbish removed.

I am in the process of buying a property in Colchester and Home Buyer's report on Gas heating is as below.
There is a gas fire within the north-west living room which appears to be of some age, and there is no sign that this has been serviced, hence the series condition rating.
The central heating is by way of the gas boiler housed within the garage. There is in fact no radiator within the side lobby or separate WC. The system was not
operating at the time of inspection.
It would appear that the boiler was serviced on 23rd September 2011, in which
case this requires a further inspection, preferably undertaken prior to completion.
The plastic expansion tank requires improving by way of a cover and insulation,
and the engineer should be requested to comment about the discolouration of the water. Similar checking to the overflow pipe should be carried out following the removal of the vendor's storage.
I need a quote to fix the above mentioned issue and also complete the annual gas inspection.
