However when we got in touch again he was round pretty quick, did an excellent job, gave our fire the best service it has had in years and sorted out the smell problem. "To follow up on this appalling after care service - When Mark first put in my new boiler he had to come back a couple of times to balance the system. Then after 2 or 3 weeks the pressure dropped on the boiler. I called Mark and eventually he came round to release two valves which bought the pressure back up. This happened again a week later and Mark got annoyed and told me to release the valves myself and abruptly told me not to call him again. He did not try to see if anything was wrong with the boiler. This kept on happening at least once or twice a month for the next year but I was too afraid to call him as I am a single female with kids, so I just kept on releasing the pressure valves. In January 2009 (a year later) the pressure was dropping and the boiler was cutting out twice a day, I still did not call Mark till March this year. He kept on standing me up for appointments (3 or 4 times) then when I demanded an explanation he told me the company had gone bust and he was not going to come out to me. In May 2009 due to continued releasing of the valves the overflow pipe leaked acidic water inside my house all over the washing machine. The overflow pipe had not been routed outside it had been left inside by Mark. I had to take a day off work and call in a qualified engineer who told me there was a part broken in the boiler that is why the pressure kept on dropping and he could not understand why this had not been dealt with at the beginning or why the overflow pipe was left inside my home. Do not ever use this company or the tradesman - first because he says the company has gone bust and second because he does not want to do any follow up work he only wants the money for the job. He is currently registered with the gas safe register www.gassaferegister.co.uk and should be complained about if you too were not happy with his work. "
