The pressure is nearly always too high, the flame failure lights lights up (and the boiler stops heating water, but will then right itself again), filler loop still attached

Very old system would consider moving boiler and tank into loft but dependent on price. Failing that the boiler will definitely need moving though, possibly to downstair loo. We are in a low water pressure area. Looking at replacing the shower unit so this is dependent on the capability of the new system.
Great job, advised on alternative approach which seemed completely logical. Quick response, provided full spec of work, trustworthy and used quality parts - would definitely recommend...

I'm not sure
Extended 3 bed detached bungalow. Boiler type is "Kingfisher". There are 7 radiators in the property of which 3 heat up OK, 2 heat up about 70% but the 2 hardly heat up at all. I have checked the air and there seems to be no trapped air. I have also flushed the radiators but there was nothing in them. The two worst heaters tend to heat up from top (slightly warm) but almost cold at the bottom. The other two which are slightly better also tend to heat up more at top than bottom.
I didn't get the job done but Niel was very thorouh in explaining the faults and how to go about fixing them. He was not pushing for a sale and stated the facts and recomended not to do anything for the time being due to the cost involved. He did not charge anything for nearly half an hour he spent checking around and advising the options. He turned up on time and showed a thorough knowledge of his profession. I would definatley use him when I do get around to upgrading my heating system. Highly recomended.

I have an old electric fire I want to remove. I am happy removing the fire myself - but want someone else to cap gas supply first. Pipework appears to already have an isolating screw valve. Must be CORGI registered.
John was quick to call; and even quicker to get round and get the job done. Pain free experience ! Recommended !
